Dave's latest contract started this morning, less than 48 hours after putting his CV into the marketplace!
About Dave Field
As a Microsoft developer, Dave's technical skills encompass VB6, VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server. Additionally, Dave has lots of experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS and
XML, as well as other web technologies such as JavaScript, PERL and MySQL. There's even some extensive COBOL expertise in Dave's history.
In addition to purely technical skills, Dave has full project lifecycle experience, and has worked under (and developed) some of the most rigourous quality assurance procedures available. Dave's work is highly standards-oriented, with emphasis on economy of design, technical simplicity, robustness and quality. Dave has masses of project management experience, and works well in a technical-lead or mentoring role. And, as this site clearly demonstrates, Dave has a clear and full understanding of website accessibility issues, and the skills to implement elegant solutions to these particular challenges.
When he's not busy developing great software, Dave is a keen climber and amateur musician.
Availability
Dave is currently contracted to the NHS in Leicester, for an initial 2 month contract. Dave's next availability will be from the start of July 2008.
